Rugby Falls to St. Ignatius Ends Season as State Runner Up

Bomber Rugby traveled to Columbus this weekend to take on national power St. Ignatius High School in a state championship match held at Fortress Obetz.

The Bombers fought hard but fell short of their upset bid as they lost to the Wildcats by a score of 26-15.

Rugby finished 11-6 on the year despite facing a tough regional schedule. The Bombers move on 10 seniors to compete at the collegiate level but will bring back a strong core next season as they look for a return trip to the state championship game.
