Rugby Takes Down Moeller On Senior Night

Bomber Rugby welcomed Moeller to RDI Stadium on Friday night, sending the Crusaders home empty handed in the process as St. Xavier won 24-22.

There couldn't have been a better way to celebrate the seniors as the win marked the first victory over the Crusaders in program history.

A beautiful night for competition saw an even better match as both teams took turns making big plays. The Bomber defense held strong on several occasions, including a big stand at the end of the first half that stopped the Crusaders from scoring just yards in front of the try zone.

Bomber Rugby now sits at 7-3 on the season with a good deal of momentum heading into next weekend's showdown with St. Ignatius. They host the Wildcats for a varsity competition on Saturday, April 27th at 1:00 pm at the Bomber Rugby Field.
