Rugby Downs Walnut Hills on Senior Day

Bomber Rugby welcomed Walnut Hills to campus on Saturday as they closed out their regular season with a Senior Day celebration against the Eagles.

It was all St. Xavier from start to finish as they won emphatically by a score of 98-7.

The Bombers scored 16-tries on the afternoon, led by Patrick Jennings' three. Alex Samson, Jonathan Rouse, and Tyler Rivers all scored two tries each, as well.

Bomber Rugby now will take a week off as they gear up for the state semifinals the weekend of May 28th. Varsity Blue will take on St. Ignatius at 7:00 pm on 5/28 at Fortress Obetz while Varsity White takes on St. Edward at 4:00 pm on 5/28 at Fortress Obetz. Tickets for both matches can be bought here.
