Lacrosse Stays Hot, Steamrolls into Region Final

Bomber Lacrosse's offense has been rolling for the first two rounds of the playoffs and last night's regional semifinal against Milford was no different.

The Bombers welcomed the Milford Eagles to campus last night and sent them home with a 22-6 loss that saw 12 different Bombers score goals.

St. Xavier took control early with a 9-1 lead after the first quarter and by halftime held a 17-3 lead with 10 different scorers.

In total, the Bombers have cruised through the first three rounds, overwhelming opponents to the tune of 73-9.

Friday night's Region IV Championship game should be a much different story as the Bombers welcome the state's 7th ranked team and the 14th ranked team in the Midwest, Mason High School. The Bombers took on the Comets earlier this month at Mason and walked away with a hard fought 13-7 victory. With higher stakes on the line, Friday's contest sets up to be an exciting one.
