The St. Xavier community gathered today to recognize the historic accomplishments of the 2025 Boys Lacrosse team, celebrating their State Championship title earned this past spring.

The ceremony opened with remarks from Athletic Director Tim Banker, who praised the team's relentless work ethic, discipline, and unity throughout their championship run. "This is one of the greatest lacrosse teams Ohio has ever seen," Banker said. "They've set a standard that will be remembered for years to come."

Also speaking was Ohio House of Representatives member Mike Odioso, who congratulated the student-athletes not only for their athletic achievements but also for the way they represented St. Xavier and the broader community.
