Lacrosse Routes Regular Season Finale, Eyes Deep Playoff Run

Bomber Lacrosse closed out their regular season on Saturday by welcoming the East Grand Rapids Pioneers (MI) to campus.

After the Pioneers got on the scoreboard first at 1-0, it was all Bombers from that point on. They took a 10-4 victory into halftime and tightened the defense in the second half to reach the game's final score of 18-5.

The Bombers were led by Khalif Hocker's 6 goals and 1 assist, but also saw three other Bombers put out multi-goal efforts: Brendan Deeley (2G/2A), Johnnie Guttman (4G/2A), and Daniel Vollmer (3G). Trent Yelton anchored the Bomber defense once again, finishing with 10 saves on the afternoon.
