Pat Donaldson Named Head Hockey Coach for St. Xavier
Pat Donaldson has been named head hockey coach St. Xavier Athletic Director Tim Banker announced on Monday, March 31.
Donaldson has more than 14 seasons of experience coaching High School Hockey at the varsity and youth levels. Pat has a history of player development, strategic game planning, and fostering a team-oriented program leading Marquette University High Schools to back-to-back sectional finals and with championship level teams at Milwaukee Winter Club and Ozaukee Youth Hockey.
St. Xavier Athletic Director Tim Banker said, "We're excited to welcome Coach Donaldson to the St. Xavier community. His experience, passion, and commitment to developing young men will be a great asset as we continue building a hockey program rooted in the excellence of St. X athletics!"
"I'm incredibly excited for the opportunity to lead the St. Xavier hockey program," said Donaldson. "My goal is to create an environment where players compete with passion, enjoy the game, and feel empowered to grow both on and off the ice. I'm looking forward to building a team built on discipline, accountability, and relentless effort, while staying true to the Jesuit values of St. X."
Donaldson attended Marquette University High School and The University of St. Thomas in Saint Paul, MN where he majored in Health Promotion. He currently lives in Mason, Ohio.
