Dwyer Wins State Singles, Doubles Team Takes 2nd in State

Bomber standout sophomore Carson Dwyer won his second consecutive state championship in tennis on Friday afternoon. Dwyer was a member of the 2023 state championship doubles team with Drew Evans and now is the proud winner of the singles state tournament this year with his 6-2, 6-2 victory over Abhinav Dandu of New Albany High School.

The Bombers had their doubles team of Chase Homan and Nihal Narisetty also competing deep into Friday as they took on a pair from Sycamore in the state finals match. Their impressive run came to an end with a second place finish as they fell to Sycamore 6-2, 6-2.
