The St. Xavier Golfers were victorious yesterday at the Southwest Ohio Division 1 Districts at Pipestone Golf Club in Miamisburg, OH. St. Xavier finished 1st of 16 teams with a team score of 307, just edging out the two other qualifying teams Anderson (310) and Moeller (310).   

The course was very challenging, and there were many ebbs and flow to the leader-board all day, but the Bombers held tough down the stretch. St. Xavier was led by sophomore Patrick Paquette with a very solid 75, senior captain George Baker 76, senior captain Michael Stagnaro 78, sophomore Eli Moore 78, and junior Owen Sedgwick 80.    

The golfers thank all of the great support from the coaches, parents, and alternates. A special shout out to Principal Dan Lynch for coming out to root on the squad to their victory! 

Next stop is the Division 1 State Tournament at NCR Country Club South Course Monday and Tuesday, October 14th - 15th in Dayton, OH. Twelve teams out of the 280 Division 1 schools qualify from the 5 districts around the state.
