Bombers Capture District Championship with Stellar Team Performance
The St. Xavier Golf Team continued its dominant postseason run, capturing the 2025 Southwest District Championship with an impressive team score of 287 (-1) — three strokes ahead of second-place Anderson and seven ahead of Centerville.
Junior Peter Boylan led the way for the Bombers, firing a 68 (-4) to finish tied for second place overall. Patrick Paquette carded a steady 71 (E) to secure a tie for sixth, while Benedict, McGrath, and Sedgwick each turned in solid rounds of 74, rounding out a deep and balanced team performance.
With the victory, St. Xavier advances to the OHSAA State Tournament, looking to carry their momentum and consistency into the final stage of the postseason.
