Volleyball Downs Familiar Foe, Continues to Regional Semifinals

They say it's tough to beat a team three times, but Bomber Volleyball was able to do just that when they took down La Salle last Saturday in second round action of the inaugural OHSAA Volleyball tournament.

With set victories of 25-14, 25-18, and 25-23, the Bombers finished a perfect 3-0 on the season against La Salle, only dropping one-set in the process.

St. Xavier now moves on to a regional semifinal with Walnut Hills who is fresh off an upset victory over Elder in their previous round. St. Xavier and Walnut will square off at Fairfield High School on May 17th at 6:00 pm. Tickets to that matchup and all Bomber postseason action can be purchased at https://www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
