Bomber Wrestling Takes First at North College Hill

The St. Xavier High School wrestling program traveled to North College Hill High School on Saturday morning to compete in the Everette Howard Wrestling Tournament, leaving as team champions of the 16 teams competing.

With a final score of 250.5, the Bombers finished ahead of Mason, Williamsburg, Winton Woods, and Western Hills to finish out the top-5.

The Bombers saw six finish atop their weight class including: Owen Koerner (106), Carson Adkins (113), Thomas Maney (126), Ty Wynn (132), Eric Kabitsch (144), and Giovanni Dicarlo (165).

Third place finishers include Dominic Darwish (120) and Oliver Weidner (175), while Sergio Pacheco-Ortiz closed out the Bomber placers with a fifth place finish.

The Bombers will look to keep their momentum heading into next weekend Southwest Ohio Wrestling Coaches Association Meet, hosted by Middletown High School.
