2022-2023 Bomber Ice Hockey Schedule Release

Coming off their best season as members of the vaunted Capital Hockey Conference, Bomber Hockey is slated to begin their 2022-2023 campaign with a trio of scrimmages this weekend in Hammond, Indiana.

After earning promotion into the Championship Bracket of the annual Blue Jackets Cup despite being in just their third season in the CHC, the Bombers will look tighten any screws this weekend before they open up regular season play on Saturday, November 12th against the Northern Kentucky Norsemen on their home ice at Sports Plus.

The Bombers play a 16-game regular season as a member of the Capital Hockey Conference, arguably the best hockey conference in the state. The CHC consists of 18-teams across three divisions. St. Xavier competes in the White Division against the likes of Olentangy Orange, Thomas Worthington, Dublin Coffman, New Albany, and Olentangy High School. Springboro competes in the Blue Division, while Moeller competes in the Red Division as the only other programs from outside the Columbus area.

Other notable scheduled events include the Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by Miami University (11/25-11/27), a trip up to Toledo for the Mark Rasmus Memorial Invitational (1/13-1/15), and the annual Blue Jackets Cup at the end of the season which serves as the CHC Tournament (2/9-2/12).
