Bomber Hockey Hosts Annual Alumni Game

On Saturday, December 18th, both the Varsity and Varsity programs hosted Walsh Jesuit High School for a double-header. It was a triple-header, though, if you ask the group of Bomber alumni who stuck around to participate in the annual alumni game.

Held every year around the holidays, a large contingency of former Bombers get together to celebrate their time as members of St. Xavier High School's Long Blue Line, specifically as members of the hockey program. After the friendly competition, the group stuck around for an alumni social that followed. The most important note from the evening, however, was that the event was injury free!

The Bombers split the two matchups Saturday night with Walsh Jesuit, but if you ask the hockey program, they'll tell you it was priceless to see some of their favorite former players skating around together again!
