The Bowling Bombers wrapped up the GCL season on Friday, the 6th, with the final Quad match of the year at Western Bowl. The Bombers entered the match with a chance to lock down sole possession of second place in the GCL.
In game one, Luke Stigall and Mason Carota led the Bombers with 267 and 210, respectively. The Bombers totaled 905, with Elder rolling an 1109 and La Salle with a 922. Moeller chose not to attend the match.
In game two, the sophomores struck again with Mason Luke rolling a 203 (470 series) and Mason posting a 200 (410 series). Bradley Giuffre ended his 352 series with a 198 and varsity newcomer Nolan McConnell rolled a 182. Going to bakers, Elder Led 2159 to La Salle's 1973 and X with an 1830.
The Bombers shot games of 129, 206, 159, and 161 for a 655 baker series. Elder finishes the season at 12-0 after posting a 2954, followed by La Salle at 2781, the Bombers at 2485, and Moeller at 0.
Bomber Strength:
The Bombers finish second in the GCL South for the first time since the 2022-20232 season.
Joseph Geer's 17,845 pins put him at 16th on the Career Pin Leader Board. Luke Stigall moves in 31st with 13,251. Brad Giuffre and Jack Kaiser are both closing in on 10,000 career pins.
Record Performances:
Luke Stigall's night on the lanes puts him in the record books. His 267 is the 48th best individual game by a Bomber in school history and his 470 series places him 66th on the All-Time list.

Upcoming Schedule:
The final week of the year starts Monday with Walnut Hills on the 9th and the Tiger End of Season tournament in Columbus on the 14th. The Bombers then begin the post-season on Tuesday, the 17th at Rollhouse Fairfield.
Around the GCL:
Elder locked up the GCL title at 12-0. The Lancers and Bombers end up tied for second at 6-6 and the Moeller Crusaders finish the GCL league at 0-12
