The Bombers ended the regular season on Saturday in the Tiger Tune-Up held at Wayne Webb's Columbus Bowl. The tournament would give the Bombers a chance to roll on the sectional shot and sectional conditions with 3 individual games and 6 bakers. The Bombers have not rolled at Wayne Webb's in the regular season since the Private School Challenge in 2022.
In game one, the Jack Kaiser got the scoring started early with a 205, and Luke Stigall added a 198 for the Bombers. Mason Carota rounded out the top scoring with a 172 as the Bombers averaged 174 for an 871 series. After on,e the Bombers sat 6th, trailing behind Miamisburg in first at 967.
The Bombers made lineup changes for game two, on their way to the highest game of the day with a 957. Luke Stigall found a line in transition shooting a 250 for the Bombers. Jack Kaiser pushed for a 192 with Ian McConnell rolling a 184. The Bombers two game score of 1828 kept them solidly in second place.
In game 3, the transition started to push the Bombers to find fresh oil. Luke Stigall continued to close frames on his way to a 204 and a team high 652 series. Jack Kaiser and Bradley Giuffre added a pair of games in the 170s as the Bombers finished with an 859 and a 2687 in individuals. The Bombers would sit 6th going to bakers.
In bakers, fatigue and a challenging shot got to the Bombers as they rolled games of 168, 160, 237, 146, 179, and a 137 for a 1027 baker series. Reynoldsburg would pass the Bombers in the final game to take the 6th spot. The Bombers finish the day in 7th. Luke Stigall's 652 was third best of the tournament for the boys.
The Bombers averaged 176.9 on the day in Columbus.
