The Bowling Bombers rolled into Northwest Lanes for the Lancer Baker Bash.  The Bash would find the Bombers rolling 16 baker games before the field would be cut to the top 16 where a best 2 out 3 baker series would determine the winner.  The Bombers finished 12th last season with their best finish happening in 2012 with a 2nd place finish.  

During qualifying the Bombers rolled 8 games of 190 or better to qualify 9th with a 2989 for a 186.8 average.  

In round one, the Bombers would be matched with the 8th seeded La Salle Lancers.  In game one, 4 opens would cause the Bombers to shoot a 150 while the Lancers rolled a 180.  In game 2, all 5 bowlers would combine for 7 strikes to post a 221 to take the win with the Lancers shooting a 178.  In game 3, the Bombers couldn't string strikes till the 9th ending with 4 in a row but fall to the Lancers 202 to 201.  

The Bombers finish in the round of 16.

On the day, Joseph Geers, Bradley Giuffre, and Luke Stigall combined for 62 strikes across 19 games.  

Record Performances

The Bombers 243 game in qualifying ranks as the 83rd best baker game in school history.  

Upcoming Schedule:

The Bombers are on the road this week with an evening Match against Elder at Western Bowl on the 13th.  They then roll in back to back tournaments with the Cardinal Classic on the 18th and the King's Classic on the 19th.  The Bombers then finish up individual GCL matches with Moeller on the 23rd and travel to La Salle on the 28th.

Elder and La Salle both rolled in the Lancer Baker Bash.      
Elder has a 3 game lead in the GCL sitting 6-0 followed by St. Xavier and La Salle tied at 3 and 3, and Moeller at 0 - 6.
