The Bombers hosted GCL-Rival Elder for the last home match of the 2024/2025 season at Rollhouse Lanes.  The Bombers came into the match trying to snap a 2 game slide on the season. 

In game one, the Bombers opened with a 59 pin lead.  Senior Joseph Geers rolled a 246 and Freshman Luke Stigall put up a 203 for the Bombers.  Jack Kaiser and Brady Johnson added on a 188 and 179.  The Bombers lead the Panthers 964 to 905.  

In game two, the Bombers struggled in transition.  Joseph Geers ended his 446 with a solid 200 game.  Brady Johnson improved to a 181 for a 360 series and Luke Stigall ended with a 356 series with a 153 game in game two.  The Bombers would fall game two 900 to 827 to trail by 14 pins going to bakers.  

In bakers, the Panthers found their line to shoot a 912 while the Bombers broke 180 one time for a 4 game series of 661.  The Bombers fall 2717 to 2452.  The Bombers move to 3-10 on the season and 3 and 6 in the GCL while Elder moves to 11-2 and 8 and 1.

The Bombers have 3 bowlers who have crossed the 5,000 Pin Mark for the season.  Luke Stigall sits at 5313, Brady Johnson at 7482, and Joseph Geers at 8056.  

Record Performances

Brady Johnson's 15,659 career pins moves him past Anthony Hughes ('14) into sole possession of 22nd all time on the career pins list.  Chris Weber ('10) holds the all-time career pins total at 37,406.  At 18th position is Keegan Barbee at 16,851 ('24), 19th is Chase Neville ('16) with 16,365, in 20th is Jason Moore ('08) 15,870, and in 21st is Matt Hott ('04) with 15,690. 

Upcoming Schedule:

The Bombers end the season with a dual against Hamilton on Thursday February 6th and a GCL-Quad on February 12th.  The Bombers will roll at Rollhouse Lanes for Sectionals on February 18th.  

Around the GCL:

Elder leads the GCL at 8-1 followed by La Salle at 6-2.  The Bombers sit in third at 3-6 with Moeller at 0-8.  The Final Quad will decide who wins GCL.
