The Bowling Bombers traveled to Western Bowl on Thursday to take on the Highlanders of Oak Hills.  The Bombers last win over Oak Hills happened in February of 2022.  The Bombers and Highlanders both sport a below .500 record for the season.  

In game one, Joseph Geers rattled the rack with a 262 game.  The Bombers struggled to find a consistent strike shot rolling only an 898 in game one.  The highlanders took an early lead with 939.  

Mason Carota helped right the ship for the Bombers in game two with a 237 game (404 series).  Joseph Geers finished with a 203 for a 465 series.  The Bombers rolled a 949 to 888 game to to take a slight lead into bakers, 1847 to 1827.  

In game one of the Bakers, Oak Hills shot a 247 while St. Xavier rolled a 143.  The Bombers would finish with games of 190, 159, amd 192 for a 684 series.  The Bombers would fall 2616 to 2531.

The Bombers have 2 bowlers averaging 190 or better at this point in the season.  

Record Performances

Joseph Geers' 262 ranked 75th best game in school history, and his 465 series ranks 89th.

Upcoming Schedule:

The Bombers wrap up the season with a tournament on December 20th at Western Bowl.  

Around the GCL:

Moeller is off till January 8th when they host the Elder Panthers.  La Salle is off till they return for the Back to School Bash on January 4th.  Elder plays host for the Holiday Classic on Saturday.    
Elder has a 2 game lead in the GCL sitting 5-0 followed by La Salle at 3 and 2, the Bombers at 2 - 3, and Moeller at 0 - 5.
