The Bombers rolled into Crossgate Lanes on Thursday December 11th for the 88th meeting between the Crusaders and the Bombers.  The Bombers had won 71 of the 87 matches between the two schools.  

In game one, Luke Stigall led the Bombers with a 209 followed by Jack Kaiser at 199, Joseph Geers and 191, and Bradley Giuffre with a 190.  The Crusaders kept it close with a 227 and a 181 score for a game one score of 912 to 835.  

Luke Stigall would finish the day with a 209 series and a 200 game in game 2.  Mason Carota shot the high game for the Bombers with a 210 while Joseph Geers (370 series), Bradley Giuffre (368 series), and Jack Kaiser (369 series) put up games in the 170s.  Going to bakers the Bombers led 1849 to 1591.  

The Bombers shot an 814 in bakers with games of 178, 208, 217, and 211 while Moeller put up a 640.  The Bombers win on the road 2663 to 2231.  

The Bombers average 190+ in the win and move to 1-1 on the season and 1-1 in the GCL while the Crusaders fall 1-3 overall and 0-2 in league play.  

Bomber Strength:

In baker games this season, Joseph Geers has been clean in 86.8% of all frames rolled.  Sophomores Ian McConnell and Mason Carota have the highest multi-pin spare percentage on the team with 73.3%.   

Record Performances

The Bombers 814 in bakers in 54th best baker series in school history. The Bombers have only rolled 800+ 85 times in school history.  

Upcoming Schedule:

The Bowling Bombers return to Western Bowl for the Holiday Classic on Saturday the 14th.  They then wrap up December with a GCL Quad at Northwest Lanes on the 17th and Oak Hills at Western Bowl on the 19th.

Elder and La Salle battled on Tuesday, December 9th with Elder coming out on top 2971 to 2876  
Elder sits atop the GCL at 2-0, while the Bombers are tied with La Salle at 1 and 1. Moeller sits in fourth at 0-2 in the GCL.
