On Saturday, the Bowling Bombers were back in action for the second half of the year with the Back to School Bash hosted by Fairfield High School. The Bombers won the title last season.
Brady Johnson and Joe Geers put up big games for the Bombers in game one with a pair of 210s. The Bombers used the bench to get to a 7th place 846.
In game two, Brady completed his 400 series with a 196 while Joe Geers crushed the pair with a 276. The Bombers entered bakers with a 1750 score putting them securely in the top half of the bracket. The Bombers then put up a 680 in Bakers to finish qualifying at 2430 and in 7th.
In the first round of the tournament, the Bombers faced off against the 26 seed Taylor. The Bombers would lose both games, finishing 17th in the tournament.

The Bombers are back in action on Saturday the 11th when they travel to Batavia Bowl to Battle Bethel-Tate. Then on Sunday they roll in the Lancer Baker Bash and compete in the first GCL quad on Tuesday the 14th at Western Bowl.
Around the GCL:
The Panthers remain atop the GCL 3-0, with the Lancers in second at 2-1, the Bombers at 1-2 in third, followed by Moeller at 0-3.
