Volleyball Sweeps Moeller to win Regional, Advances to State Semifinals

Bomber Volleyball met Moeller at Mason High School on Saturday afternoon to take on the defending three-time state champions in a regional final.

In their fourth match up on the season, the Bombers came away victorious for the fourth time as they swept the Crusaders to win the regional championship. The Bombers won with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, and 25-19 to complete the sweep.

The victory is a bit sweeter for the Bombers as Moeller has knocked them out in the regional final game each of the last two seasons.

The revenge tour continues as St. Xavier advances to take on Olentangy Liberty on Saturday, May 25th at 5:00 pm at Wittenberg University. Liberty is responsible for Bomber Volleyball's lone loss of the season, beating them 3-1 in the finals of the Centerville Elite Tournament back on April 13th.
