Volleyball Takes Down Elder, Advances to Regional Final

Bomber Volleyball welcomed Elder to the Berning Gymnasium for a Region IV semifinal against the Panthers.

Opening with a 25-7 set one victory, the Bombers continued their dominance with a 3-0 victory over Elder to advance to Saturday's Region IV Finals. Sets two (25-18) and three (25-23) proved to be closer, but the St. Xavier was able to finish strong for their 10th consecutive straight set victory.

The win sets the stage for a Region IV Final against familiar foe and three time defending state champion, Moeller High School. The two titans of Ohio high school volleyball will meet at Mason High School at 2:00 pm on Saturday, May 18th battling for a right to go to state. Tickets can be purchased at www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
