Volleyball Remains Perfect with a Pair of Weekend Victories

Bomber Volleyball went into the weekend with a pair of matches and came out victorious despite a quick turnaround.

The Bombers traveled down North Bend Rd to take on the Lancers of La Salle High School in GCL action on Friday night. They left victorious with a 3-0 sweep and set victories of 25-15, 25-18, 25-14.

Just over 12 hours later the Bombers were back in action, at home this time, when they played host to Hilliard Darby High School. Darby proved to be much more formidable, but the Bombers were still able to leave the weekend undefeated as they took down the Panthers by a score of 3-1. The Bombers split the first two sets 25-19 and 24-26 before winning the last two 25-18 and 25-21.

St. Xavier sits at 7-0 on the season with one match left before a slight Easter break. The Bombers host Roger Bacon on Wednesday, March 27th and will be off until they're back in GCL play with a trip to Elder High School on April 5th.
