Cross Country Qualifies for OHSAA State Meet
 

The St. Xavier Cross Country Team punched their ticket to the OHSAA State Meet this past weekend! At the Regional Meet, the Bombers finished 4th overall to qualify. Mason claimed the title with a team score of 83, Little Miami 88, Centerville 94, St. Xavier 99, and Beavercreek 101 to each advance to the State Meet this upcoming weekend. 

Senior Alex Bruns finished 2nd overall with a time of 15:03, just 5 seconds away from the individual winner. Junior Dom Ellis finished with a time of 15:53 (13th overall). Senior David Franz raced a 16:12 to claim 21st overall, and senior Jack Nesbit was just behind with a 25th finish and time of 16:18. Senior Landen Fernandez raced a 16:36 to finish 46th overall. Senior Owen Paul had a 16:54 to finish 59th overall, and sophomore Benjamin Wangugi finished 64th with a 16:58.

*The OHSAA State Meet takes place this Saturday, November 2nd at Fortress Obetz in Obetz, OH. The Division 1 race will start at 2:00pm.*
