Box Score The St. Xavier Basketball Team continue their season over the weekend and split a pair of games. On Friday, the Bombers faced Elder in a classic GCL showdown in the Pit. Elder entered the contest as a top 10 team in the state and proved finally showed it in the 4th quarter. St. X held the lead a majority of the game, but the Panthers attacked the 4th quarter and came out with the W with a 45-36 victory. 

On Saturday the Bombers hosted Cincinnati College Preparatory Academy in Berning Gymnasium and bounced back fast. St. X led the entire game and prevailed 67-47. Donovan Waleskowski led the Bombers with 18 pts. followed by Gordy Sulfsted with 11 and Jacob Wassler who had 10.  

For their part, the Freshman and JV teams went 4-0 over the weekend. 

The Bombers travel to Beavercreek on Tuesday and host LaSalle on Friday and Wyoming on Saturday.
