Coach Ferris Collects Win #400, Bombers Advance to Regional Final

It was a special night for head coach Bill Ferris and the St. Xavier Volleyball program.

On the surface, the Bombers took down Walnut Hills in a Regional Semifinal by a score of 3-1. After splitting the first two sets 27-25 and 19-25, the Bombers settled in and asserted themselves to take the final two sets 25-13 and 25-7.

What made th evening even more special was Coach Ferris reaching a milestone 400th career win. Ferris has been the Bomber head coach for 22 years now, with all of his head coaching experience coming as a Bomber. He currently sits with an astonishing career record of 400-111. Congrats to Coach Ferris and his family!

St. Xavier advances to a regional final where they'll take on familiar GCL foe, the Moeller Crusaders. Coach Ferris looks to get win 401 in a revenge match as the Bombers fell to Moeller last year in this round.
