Bomber Volleyball Opens the Season with Hot Start

Bomber Volleyball traveled to Olentangy Berlin on Saturday, March 18th for a trio of matches to open their season.

They came out of the gates hot, opening the season by winning their three matches by a combined score of 9 sets to 1. The Bombers opened with a 3-0 sweep of the hosts, Olentangy Berlin (25-19, 25-13, 25-20). They followed that up with a 3-1 victory over St. Ignatius (25-14, 17-25, 25-20, 25-15) and then finished the day with a 3-0 sweep of Olentangy Liberty (25-18, 27-25, 26-24).

The Bombers quickly move to 3-0 on the young season as they dive right into GCL play this week. They host Moeller on Tuesday and La Salle on Friday with game times of 5:00/6:00/7:00 pm on both days. Tickets for all St. Xavier Volleyball home events can be purchased here.
