On Thursday, February 17th, the Bowling Bombers hosted the final GCL quad of the season. The Bombers came in with a 1 game lead over the LaSalle Lancers for second place in the league. Elder had locked up the league the week prior when they swept LaSalle. Â

In game one, the Bombers struggled putting up an 868. Jalen Morrow led the Bombers with a 203. Zack Beard shot a 196 and Jared Littelmann rolled a 178. Chris Obert finished with a 162. Andrew Berkemeier, Allen Rosal, and Aaron Bickford combined for a 129. The Bombers found themselves in 3rd as Elder Shot a 966, followed by LaSalle with an 876, and Moeller punching in a 793.

In game two, the Bombers found their footing with a 928. Zack Beard put another 190 on the board to finish the day at 386. Jalen Morrow shot a 179 for a 382 series. Jared Littlemann crossed the 200 barrier with a 201 to roll a 379. Chris Obert shot a 190 to end his day with a 352. Aaron Bickford got his first start of a game with Allen Rosal finishing it for a 168. The Bombers lost ground as Elder put up a match high 1048, LaSalle punched in a 959, and Moeller shot a 923.

In bakers, the Bombers' struggles continued as they shot games of 163, 166, 193, and a 183. The Bombers finish the quad in 3rd as Elder finished the season sweep at 12-0 and rolled a 2807. LaSalle moved into a tie with the Bombers for second finishing the quad in second with a 2511. The Bombers finish the GCL season at 6-6 and a second place finish for the second year in a row. The Crusaders finished with a 2409 and an 0-12 season in GCL. Â
