Coming off the big GCL win on Tuesday, the Bombers wrapped up the month of December with an away match at Gilmore Lanes against Lakota West.  

In game one, Andrew Berkemeier opened scoring up for the Bombers with a 226.  Brady Johnson, Aaron Bickford, and Tyler Brown put up a trio of 180 games while Conner Cahill, making his first varsity start of the season, and Keegan Barbee put up a combined 164.  The Bombers led after one 943 to 775.

In game two, the Bombers struggled with the wood lanes and transition but continued to push their lead farther.  Andrew Berkemeier put up a 258 for a 484 series.  Aaron Bickford shot a 191 for a 374 series.  Keegan Barbee and Tyler Brown shot a pair of 190s.  Tyler Brown finished with a 371 series.  The Bombers led West by a score of 1921 to 1555.

In bakers, the Bombers put up a 667 to Lakota's 675.  The Bombers win 2588 to 2230.   

The Bombers move to 7 and 2 on the season and 5-0 in the GCL.  Lakota West falls to 2-4 on the season

Record Performances
Andrew Berkemeier's 484 was the 36th best 2 game series school history and his 258 was the 78th best game in school history.  The Bombers are now 5-1 against Lakota West.  

Upcoming Schedule:
The Bombers open up the second half of the season with a big GCL match up against Elder on January 5th.  The Bombers then play host to the Fairfield Indians on the 10th and the Moeller Crusaders on the 12th.  Then the Bombers have 3 big events in three days with the Lancer Baker Bash on the 15th, the Baker Bash in Dayton on the 16th, and then the final match up with La Salle on the 17th.   

Around the GCL:
The GCL remained idle on Thursday, as the Bombers sit in first in the GCL followed by Elder, La Salle, and Moeller.
