Cross Country Land Seven All-GCL Members, Sweep Individual Awards

For the 9th time in the last ten years, Bomber Cross Country swept the individual awards handed out by the GCL this past week.

Junior Evan Trapp was named the Athlete of the Year while coach Andy Wietmarschen earned his 9th consecutive Coach of the Year award.

The Bombers took four of the seven First Team spots while another three runners earned Second Team honors. Take a look at the full list here.

The Bombers recently took 2nd place in the Regional Meet this past weekend, 10/29, in Troy, OH. They are off to compete in the state championship meet on Saturday, November 5th at 3:00 pm at Fortress Obetz in Obetz, OH. Get all of your OHSAA State Cross Country information here.
