Bomber Cross Country Races into the Postseason with 12th Consecutive GCL Championship

For the 12th consecutive season, the St. Xavier Cross Country program are your GCL Champions.

Off the strength of four finishers in the top five, the Bombers dominated the Varsity race with a near perfect score. Evan Trapp took first with a time of 16:16.8, Colin Sams second (16:21.3), Alex Bruns third (16:28.8), and Wyatt Houchens fifth (16:45.5).

The Bombers also placed the Top-7 in the JV race and had the winner in the Freshman race as well as six in the Top-10.

St. Xavier sets their sites on a return trip to state this year when they open up with the District Meet on Saturday, October 22nd. The meet will be held at Voice of America Park in Mason. Tickets can be purchased by going to www.ohsaa.org/tickets.
