The Bowling Bombers opened up GCL play by hosting the Moeller Crusaders on December 7th at Western Bowl.  The Bombers have won 59 of the last 71 matches between the two schools.  The Bombers entered the match averaging 2751 per match while the Crusaders are averaging 2209.

In game one, the Bombers opened up a quick 112 pin lead with a team score of 992 to Moeller's 880.  Jared Littelmann started strong for the Bombers throwing a 246 while fellow seniors Allen Rosal and Zack Beard shot games of 204 and 202.  Jalen Morrow rolled a 178.  Chris Obert and Euell Yohannes split game one with 5 frames each to finish with a 162.  The Crusaders had one bowler notch a 245 game.  

In game two, the Bombers continued to separate from the Crusaders with a team score of 1005 for a team total of 1997 to Moellers 863 and 1743 total.  Jared Littelmann finished his 459 series with a 213 game.  Allen Rosal shot a 224 to finish with a 428 series.  Zack Beard rolled a 189 for a 391 series.  Euell Yohannes and Andrew Berkemeier completed games of 208 and 171 for the Bombers.  

In Bakers, the Bombers tinkered with the line-up and rolled games of 175, 215, 255, and 193 for a Baker total of 838.  The Crusaders show games of 134, 158, 157, and 144 for a 593 series.  The Bombers win with their third 2800+ game of the year, 2835 to 2336.  The Bombers move to 3 and 1 on the season and 1 and 0 in the GCL.  The Moeller Crusaders fall to 0 and 1.  

Record Performances
Jared Littelmann's 2 game total of 459 places him in the honor scores for the Bombers as the 103rd highest two game total in school history.  The Bombers also etched their names with their 255 Baker game (21st best in school history), 838 Baker series (24th best), and their 2835 (43rd best).  The seniors on this team have been part of eight 2800 or higher games for the Bombers in the past season and a half.  There has only been 60 total games thrown with a series of 2800 or higher.  

Upcoming Schedule
The Bombers have a much needed day off tomorrow before returning to the lanes to roll against house rival and GCL for Elder.  The Bombers then roll on Sunday in the Holiday Classic before ending the month on Tuesday with the first GCL quad of the season.
