On Tuesday, December 1st, the Bowling Bombers hosted the LaSalle Lancers to kick off the Greater Catholic League South conference schedule. Last season, the Lancers finished 3rd in the state and return a team full of upperclassman. In game one, the Lancers opened with an 1140 with 3 scores north of 230. The Bombers rolled a 967 with juniors Allen Rosal shooting a 257 and Jared Littelmann shooting a 202. Rosal's 257 sits as 75th best in team history. In game two, the Lancers again had all 5 roll 200+ for a team total of 1104 and a first round score of 2244. The Bombers improved to a team score of 1044 and first round of 2011.

In game two, Jared Littelmann shot a 239 for a 441 series, sophomore Gavin Twitty shot a 230 on his way to a 402 series, and Allen Rosal rolled a 204 on his way to 461 which placed him 82nd in team history.

Heading into Bakers, the Bombers trailed 2244 to 2011. St X rolled a 226, 184, 182, and 173 on their way to 765 and a total of 2776 while the Lancers shot 192, 203, 193, and 212 on their way to an even 800 and 3044 team total. The Bombers fall to the Lancers 3044 to 2776. LaSalle moves to 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the GCL while the Bombers move to 1-1 on the season and 0-1 record in the GCL. The Bombers are off on Wednesday and then return to practice on Thursday and their first away match of the season on Friday at Game of Fairfield to face off against the Big Blue of Hamilton.
