On Tuesday Night, the Bombers hosted the Elder Panthers in a GCL Showdown at Western Bowl. The Bombers and Panthers came in tied for second in the GCL both sitting at 2-3 in the GCL.
The Bombers came out shooting 1004 in game one with Juniors
Zackary Beard shooting a 232 and
Allen Rosal rolling a 202. Senior
Owen Sena shot a 186 and Junior
Jared Littelmann rolled a 170.
Christopher Obert and
Jalen Morrow combined to roll a 214 for the Bombers. Elder's CJ Herbers shot the only 200+ score for the Panthers with a 222. The Panthers trailed the Bombers 954 to 1004.
In game two, the Bombers found 200 four times.
Zackary Beard shot a 228 for a 460 series,
Owen Sena rolled a 234 for a 420 series,
Jared Littelmann finished with a 208 for a 378 series, and
Allen Rosal shot his 373 series by finishing with a 171.
Jalen Morrow finished his day with a 206. The Panthers shot an 860 while the Bombers lead grew to 2051 to 1814.
In bakers, the Panthers cut the lead with scores of 223, 194, 177, and 211 for an 805 series. However, it was not enough as the Bombers rolled a 725 with games of 197, 162, 162, and 204. The Bombers hold on to win 2776 to 2619. The Bombers move into sole position of second place sitting 3-3 on the season in the GCL and the Panthers fall to 2-4. The Bombers and Panthers meet up 2 more times this season with a head to head match up on January 29th at 7:30 and in the final GCL quad on February 5th. The Bombers have not beaten Elder more than once in a season since 2017 when the Bombers beat the Panthers 3 times.

The Bombers have not played Oak Hills since December 2017 and this will be the first match up between the Bombers and Kettering Fairmont.
