RECORD NIGHT AT GCL
The St. Xavier Swimming and Diving program earned its 81st GCL title (66
th consecutive) at Keating Natatorium on Wednesday, February 4. Leading the way was Swimmer of the Meet,
Chase Grisi [SR], who struck gold in the 200 Medley Relay along with
Owen Gee [SO],
Alex Nixon [SR] and
Sam DeMarco [SR]. Grisi swimming the breaststroke leg posted the 4
th fastest split in program history – 25.49. The relay time qualifies for All-American consideration.

Aidan Smith's come back with a win in the 100 Free. Gee tied Thackston McMullan's record in topping the field in Back. Grisi improved in 100 Breast time, by over 6 seconds touching in 57.52 on the victory.

Both Free relays swam to gold. In the 200 Free Relay,
Brandon Hylton [SR] got things rolling with a BLT (21.45) and was followed by Farrell,
Nabil Sinno [SR] and Nixon. The 400 Free relay dualed Elder as Farrell,
Brayden Scott [SR],
Aidan Smith and Hylton finished the competition off with a flourish.

10 members of the Long Blue Lane (event winners) and 3 (event runners-up) will make the All League team. Previously, divers
Andrew Policastro [SR],
Nick Petrocelli [SR],
Jude Rice [JR] and Enzo Nies [SR] swept the diving event.

"Best Wednesday night I have had in a long time. Historic Keating was rocking as our guys raced to the program's important GCL title. It is a great meet especially coupled with the GGCL," reported assistant head coach
