St. Xavier put on a defensive clinic in a commanding 56-18 win over Colerain on Tuesday night. The Bombers improved to 18-5 on the season with an efficient offensive performance and smothering defense.Â

From the opening tip, St. Xavier controlled the game, jumping out to a 12-5 first-quarter lead and never looking back. A balanced scoring attack saw 11 different Bombers in the score column, with Donovan Waleskowski leading the way with 10 points, including two three-pointers. John Veith also added 10 points off the bench, while Liam McGeady chipped in seven going a perfect 3-3 from the field.Â
The Bombers depth played a key role in the victory, with the bench contributing 31 points. Veith's efficient 4-for-4 shooting led the second unit, while Luke Sorce added five points, including a three-pointer. The ability to rely on a deep and talented rotation highlights St. Xavier's well-rounded roster, allowing them to maintain a high level of play regardless of lineup changes.
