Recap of Annual Soccer Jesuit Cup Weekend
 

This past weekend, the St. Xavier Varsity Soccer Bombers traveled up to Walsh Jesuit High School (Cuyahoga Falls, OH) for the annual Jesuit Cup. Every year, the Jesuit schools in Ohio including St. Ignatius, Walsh Jesuit, St. John's Jesuit, and St. Xavier compete in this weekend-long event alternating home locations. 

In the first game of the weekend, the Bombers faced St. John's Jesuit. After regulation, the score was still 0-0, so the two teams were required to go into sudden death penalty kicks. The Bombers came up just short in the shootout: 3-4.

The next day, the Bombers took on St. Ignatius. The Bombers fell to the Wildcats 3-0. 

They are back in action tomorrow, August 27th at Sycamore: JV at 5:00, and Varsity at 7:00.
