2024 Varsity Football Schedule Release
It's ALMOST time for Friday night football games! The St. Xavier Athletic Department presents to you the official 2024 Varsity Bomber Football Schedule.
Week 1 – Friday, August 23rd at 7:00 PM
AWAY vs. Lakota West High School
- For the first game of the season, the Bombers kick things off on the road as they take on the Firebirds of Lakota West High School.
Week 2 – Friday, August 30th at 7:00 PM
AWAY vs. Centerville High School
- The Bombers continue their early-season road streak as they travel to Centerville High School for a Friday Night Lights showdown.
Week 3 – Friday, September 6th at 7:00 PM
HOME vs. Cathedral High School
- St. Xavier welcomes Cathedral High School (IN) to RDI Stadium & Ballaban Field for the first home matchup of the year.
Week 4 – Friday, September 13th at 7:00 PM
HOME vs. Withrow High School
- The Bombers host the Withrow High School Tigers for another home game contest.
Week 5 – Friday, September 20th at 7:00 PM
HOME vs. Archbishop Moeller High School
- After coming just short in last season's OHSAA Regional Quarterfinal, the Bombers look for revenge against one of their GCL rivals, the Moeller Crusaders.
Week 6 – Friday, September 27th at 7:00 PM
AWAY vs. Elder High School
- The Bombers continue GCL play on the road as they travel to The Pit to compete against the Elder Panthers.
Week 7 – Friday, October 4th at 7:00 PM
AWAY vs. Trinity High School (KY)
- St. Xavier will travel to Kentucky for an annual matchup against Trinity High School. The Bombers hope to break a 3-year skid against the elite Kentucky school.
Week 8 – Friday, October 11th at 7:00 PM
AWAY vs. La Salle High School
- St. Xavier looks to beat GCL competitor La Salle for the 5th consecutive year in the annual "Battle of North Bend."
Week 9 – Friday, October 18th at 6:00 PM
HOME vs. St. Ignatius High School
- In the annual Paul Lammermeier Memorial Cup, the Bombers will play host this year to friendly Jesuit rival St. Ignatius. The Bombers look to win for the second consecutive year.
Week 10 – Friday, October 25th at 7:00 PM
HOME vs Life Christian Academy | Senior Night
- The regular season schedule will conclude with a visit from Life Christian Academy (VA) for the first time since 2022. The St. Xavier seniors will also be recognized for their commitment and hard work to the football team.
