Bomber Soccer Wins 2024 District Championship

This weekend, the St. Xavier faced Little Miami in the 2024 District Championship match, and the Bombers walked away with the title with a final score of 1-0! Thanks to a perfect assist from junior Rowdy Scheer to senior Charlie Lynch in the 35th minute, the Bombers were able to get on the board to close the first half. Defensive efforts from goalkeeper Luke Smith and the rest of the team proved to be crucial, as the Bombers were able to hold off their opponent to a shut-out game.

St. Xavier competes in the Regional Semifinal (top 16 teams in Ohio) this Wednesday, October 30th. They will play the Moeller Crusaders at 7:00pm at Lakota East High School. This season, the Bombers are 0-2 vs. the Moeller Crusaders, so they look to end this streak in hopes making it to the next round!
