Bomber Soccer Ties Liberty in Top-5 Matchup

St. Xavier soccer traveled to Powell, Ohio on Saturday afternoon to take on the Olentangy Liberty Patriots in a matchup of two of the state's top-five ranked teams.

The Bombers used goals from Daniel Campos and James Jackson as they played the Patriots to a draw.

Olentangy entered the contest as the states third ranked team, while the Bombers sat at fifth. The result moved the Patriots to 4-1-2 on the young season while St. Xavier currently sits at 5-1-2.

St. Xavier returns to GCL South play as they kick off "Elder Week" by welcoming the Panthers to Ballaban Field on Tuesday night. JV kicks things off at 5:00 pm with Varsity following at 7:00 pm. Get your tickets here!
