Bomber Football Closes Regular Season on High Note, Gears Up for Playoffs

After taking a 3-0 lead in the first quarter over Life Christian Academy out of Virginia on Friday night, the two teams played even football until just 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter.

Gage Patrick rumbled his way for a 12-yard touchdown to give the Bombers a 10-0 lead. Two minutes later, Patrick scored again from 9-yards out on an untimed down giving the Bombers a 17-0 lead heading into the 4th quarter.

With the game all but decided, the two teams traded a pair of touchdowns in the 4th quarter highlighted by a 45-yard onside kick return for a touchdown from Bomber linebacker Justin Kattus. 

With the 30-16 victory, the Bombers finish the regular season and enter the playoffs at 4-6. They will travel to Fairfield High School on Friday evening for a First Round tilt with the Indians. Fairfield comes into the game sporting a 7-3 record with their loses coming to Princeton, Lakota West in 2OT, and Mason.
